NorthWest Academy of Martial Arts

Established in 1988, NorthWest Academy of Martial Arts stands in ancient city, Xi’an by its title “One of the Ten Famous Martial Art Colleges, National Advanced Martial Art College, Shaanxi Star College”; it occupies 81,000 square meters with the building area of 26,000 square meters; with more than 2,000 students currently, it becomes the cultural and martial art school with largest headcount and scale in northwest five provinces. With more than 20 years’ glorious history, it always persists in the school tenet of “study in civil and military, be excellent in quality and performance” and takes the mission of “making many students become the elites with political integrity and professional competence and ability in civil and military”; adopting the advanced schooling philosophy, it shapes the four specific martial school spirits: people-oriented humanistic spirit, pragmatic and scientific spirit, exceeding spirit toward the future and teamwork spirit of standing together regardless of any situation. The college had large-scale martial performance with one thousand performers in opening ceremony of National 4th Urban Sports Game in 1999 and opening ceremony of Shaanxi 12th Sports Game in 2002, which was well recognized by various circles of the society. In various games and contests at home or abroad, it has obtained more than 2000 golden, silver and copper medals total.
